Butuuro peoples’ Sacco is a member owned, governed and controlled institution which started operations in 2007 under registration number 8583/RCS and operates within South Western Uganda with Its Head Office located in Nyakabirizi Trading Center, Bushenyi- Ishaka Municipality.
Butuuro Peoples Sacco is looking for qualified, experienced and result oriented individuals to fill the following positions
Position:01(One) Human Resource Officer
Reporting to: General Manager
Responsible for:
Ensuring the availability of competent and willing workforce to the organization as well as to meet the needs, aspirations, values and dignity of individuals/employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Correlating and planning to make the best use of the employee talents and skills by monitoring employee performance and recommending improvements.
- Administer the work of support staff and specialists of their team
- Building a relationship between employee and organization management and promote positive working environment aligned with Sacco values and cooperative principles.
- Guiding and helping Human Resource Committee in recruiting, hiring employee workforce and coordinate the performance appraisal processes.
- Manage the payroll, implement staff welfare programs and ensure safe working conditions in line with legal requirements.
- Ensure compliance with policies, labor laws and cooperative regulations.
Job Requirements and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management. A post graduate Diploma in a related field from a recognized Institution will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated high levels of honesty, integrity, accountability and confidentiality.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures diligently.
- Working experience of at least 2years.
- Applicant should be 35-45 years of age.
Position:03 (Three) Credit officers
Reporting to: Branch Manager
Responsible for:
Managing the credit and loan processes of the institution. This includes preparing loan documentation, evaluating client creditworthiness, and overseeing loan monitoring, recovery, and reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process client
- Loan documentation, ensuring compliance with institutional standards and policies.
- Assess the creditworthiness of clients through thorough analysis and evaluation.
- Monitor the loan portfolio to identify and mitigate risks.
- Engage in effective loan recovery strategies and maintain accurate reporting on loan performance.
- Work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and offer appropriate credit solutions.
Job Requirements and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Microfinance, Agribusiness Management, or a relevant field from a recognized educational institution.
- Knowledge in credit administration and portfolio analysis.
- Demonstrated high levels of honesty, integrity, and accountability.
- Excellent planning, organizing, and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication skills coupled with effective people management abilities.
- Ability to frequently travel to the field as required; ability to ride a motorcycle with a valid driving permit is a plus.
- Applicant should be no more than 30 years of age.
05 (Five) Sales Agents
Reporting to: Branch Manager
Responsible for:
Managing the promotion and positioning of a brand or the products and services that Butuuro SACCO provides at the Branch. To attract more members to join Butuuro SACCO and to raise brand awareness through the creation of marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product/service management.
- Marketing-information management
- Putting together estimates and budgets for marketing campaigns.
- Working with advertising agencies and the entire Butuuro SACCO marketing team
Job Requirements and Skills:
- A minimum of a Diploma in Business Administration or a relevant field from a recognized educational institution.
- Demonstrated high levels of honesty, integrity, and accountability.
- Strong customer care skills, with an ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage interpersonal relationships.
- Professional appearance and a commitment to maintaining a neat and well-groomed presence.
- Applicant should not be more than 30 years of age.
NB: Remuneration shall be commission based.
